If you are looking for a transfer from Anchorage to your cruise ship in Whittier, this is the company to use. They delivered our party of 15 from Airport in Anchorage to Whittier without any worries. We found our driver at the designated area at the airport with no problems and right on time. The bus was actually a large motor coach which is why we choose this company (we prefer to travel in large coaches due to comfort and safety). Our driver was very friendly and helpful with our luggage and made sure we were taken care of our whole trip. We chose the trip with stops along the way, which were great (Beluga Point, Wildlife and Glacier). We arrived at our Princess ship on time and were dropped off directly at the luggage drop off. We have learned lots of history and fun facts about Alaska from the audio tour. My family was very pleased with the service that I had booked for them and thanked me for the great choice of company for a very important part of our vacation – connecting transportation to our cruise line.

Nice way to travel from Anchorage to Seward. 06/12

After ten days of fantastic weather all the way from Vancouver we disembarked at Whittier on a cold, grey, rainy day prompting one of our group to remark that she “would have to return in summer”. The weather did not improve but our mood did after we met our guide/driver, John, who would provide all the sunshine we needed! Our family group of 16 had booked the all day Whittier to Anchorage tour with drop off at the airport and at a downtown hotel, It was a lot cheaper than the cruise ship transfer and proved once again to be more personalized and convenient. John quickly loaded our 28 seater and we were off long before the cruise ship bus. All the stops were interesting and the children really enjoyed the Wildlife Refuge and feeding the Deer at the Wildberry Farm, even though we often had to take refuge from the rain ourselves. The Tram Ride at the Alyeska Ski Resort was great fun although our view was mainly the inside of a cloud. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the willing, accommodating, cheerful demeanor of John. We would recommend Alaska Cruise Transportation without hesitation or reservation. Many Thanks to them and to John.

This was the best transfer we’ve ever had. Our driver was funny and informative. We went through the longest vehicle tunnel in North America…pretty cool. Saw a neat candy store…lots of yummy temptations. And spent some time at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where we were able to see a lot of Alaskan wildlife up close. It was well worth the $39. 05/13

Our group ended our cruise in Seward and chose Alaskan Cruise Transfers full day trip to take us to Anchorage in preference to the exceptionally expensive transfers offered by the Cruise ship companies. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Brandi, was waiting for us in the terminal and quickly loaded our luggage into the back of a very new looking 30 seater coach. The seats are a little on the small side, but we had a comfortable journey and the windows were large so we had good views. Brandi was a fantastic guide, with a great knowledge of Alaska and was able to handle difficult passengers who consistently returned late to our bus, with professionalism. Sightseeing stops included ‘Exit Glacier at Mt Spenard National Park and an Alaskan Wildlife Centre with bears, bison, elk and eagles among other wildlife. We could have done with more time here as there was so much to see. From there, we went on to the ski resort of Alyeska and an amazing tram trip up the mountain which was spectacular. We also were given a packed lunch there which we were able to eat at the top of the ski lift. Brandi kept up an interesting commentary to accompany the taped one. We passed Turnagain Inlet and many scenic mountains, with plenty of opportunity to take photos. At Anchorage, we had a brief tour around the city and were given suggestions by Brandi on places to see, shopping and entertainment before being dropped off at our hotel. I would fully recommend this company’s transfers which were also reasonably priced and all-inclusive.

We were so much worries about transfer transportation as we heard there is lots of scams going on online about transfers then we found this service which was worth, trustworthy with friendly staff n nice ambience insight the bus, it was a relaxed journey with no stress or tiredness as we had a great sceneries on our way, also bus stops at some most famous points for photo sessions etc, wildlife spot was worth stopping by. The best part in bus was restroom, it was clean with no smell it was a great help for our kid we had a wonderful transfer time. Also the most imp part while we are on transfer is timings ,luggage etc, staff helps us out with our luggage n also drop us to our ship before departure awesome timings with perfection of work we had a good time so we suggest others to use this service too!! No worries only cherries!!

I recently took my first cruise and needed a way to transfer from Anchorage to Whittier so I could board the ship. Not only was the price right (cheaper than other services I researched) but there was an added bonus of having a tour, as well.

Since this was my first trip to Alaska and my first cruise, I wanted to see everything and I was not disappointed. Honestly, I could have used the cruise line’s transfer service but it was just a ride with my suitcases and that didn’t seem all that fun. The ACT service provided a narrated tour that described what you were seeing and provided a few stops along the way. This was the best part … We stopped at this animal conservation park that had Alaskan animals. I know it might sound silly but I’ve always wanted to see a moose in real life and I got to do that and now have some excellent pictures to share with my family & friends. These creatures are huge awe-inspiring so I’m so glad I got to see this!

This was a trip for just the hubby and I so we were looking to have every experience we could and this transfer packed in a lot that we might not have been able to otherwise see. The bus also stopped at a glacier park (which my husband enjoyed more than me) and we went through this long tunnel that I found boring but my husband also thought was pretty cool.

Another reason why I chose this service is because they advertised a bathroom on the bus. This may sound like a small thing but for me, this was crucial because I like to plan for all contingencies. In the end, I didn’t actually have to use it but just knowing it was available helped me to relax and enjoy the ride.

All in all, a great service for a necessary trip that had to be made to get to my vacation. They transferred me right to the cruise ship and delivered on everything I expected. 08/13

We took Alaska Cruise Transfers from our hotel in Anchorage to Whittier cruise docks for an NCL cruise, stopping at the Alaska Wildlife Park on the way. The company boasts the only full-size bus service, and our coach that picked us up was indeed a nice full-size tour bus with onboard restroom that apparently nobody needed. The “Anchorage City Tour” part was driving around to other hotels to pick up passengers, and not going around downtown. That was fine with us as we had already seen downtown Anchorage the day before.

The bus went to a few other hotels and then hit the Seward Highway south. The narration on the way to Whittier was informative and humorous, played off a CD of a professional-sounding spokesman timed to narrate the place the bus was passing through. The driver was a young Anchorage native who chimed in some comments along the way. We stopped at a pull-off for a photo opportunity, the animal park, and at Portage lake for another photo opportunity. The weather was overcast and occasionally rainy, so being outside wasn’t great, but the drive was still scenic and interesting. The last “thrill” was going through the 2.7 mile Anton Anderson tunnel. The company performed exactly as they said, and we were quite satisfied with the service. They were as cheap as the cruiseline, and they picked us up right at our hotel, so we didn’t have to go back to the airport to get the cruiseline’s transfer bus, nor miss the wildlife park, which was somewhat interesting. 09/13

A group of friends and I decided we would give it a shot and go take a cruise and see what Alaska has to offer. We arrived in Anchorage and secured transportation to the cruise ship docks in Whittier.  We had 9 people taking the transfer from Anchorage to Whittier to the Norwegian ship. It is usually $55 a person, but because we had a group over 6 we received a 10% discount. You have to love a discount. We were picked up in Anchorage and brought to Whittier without incident. Everything was smooth and easy- thanks to Alaska Cruise Transfers and Tours. Using this company definitely made the transfer a stress free.  We saw little bit of Whittier prior to boarding the ship. It is a really small town- I think they said the population was less than 200.The only building of significance in Whittier was an old abandoned government building called the Buckner Building. It was a federal government building and is now empty, dilapidated, full of asbestos and crumbling. But you are only in Whittier to get on your cruise ship so no big deal.

Alaska is a great place to visit. The beauty of the scenery is unmatched compared to where I have been.

We signed up with Alaska Cruise Transfers to go from the airport to our cruise ship in Whittier. The trip included a stop at the Wildlife Conservation Center. Everything went according to schedule. The bus was a little late to the airport, but not a big deal. The weather was awful so the stop at the Wildlife Center was pretty short. All in all, I would use them again. The price was better than the cruise lines and you can’t blame them for the lousy weather. 09/13

My family took a trip to Alaska and used the Alaska Cruise Transfer. We had a great experience and will be using them again when we go back. We took the bus from the airport to get to our cruise in Whittier. I have a big family and we were all comfortable for our time on the bus. My son is tall 6’2 and he was even comfortable. The weather was nice and we were able to see the town as we rode. My family was able to get the discount because there were 11 of us. Me, my husband, our three kids and my sister and her family. This was a wonderful trip and we plan to go again soon. 09/13
