Four of us travelled from Whittier to Anchorage on the ACT Big Bus. I checked out several other companies, but this company offered an extra hour guided tour stops on the way to Anchorage. We were not catching a plane so no worries for time. Also, everyone is off the ships early and it seemed like a good way to spend morning getting to Anchorage. We stopped at the Wilderness Animal Conservation area…very interesting…they were even feeding the baby moose; as well as views of Glaciers and lots of interesting history of the area. The extra bonus is that it offered more and was less expensive than the cruise ship offering. 08/14
