Pick up and Drop off Locations
Here is the complete list of places that we DON’T and DO pick up or drop off in Anchorage.
Anchorage pick up and drop off description:
We don’t have a bus station. This is one of the best features of our service as most companies don’t pick up or drop off their customers. We pick up and drop off at your location (on selected transfers and all of our tours).
We pick up and drop off at the Alaska Airlines gates (Anchorage airport is very small and most local airline check ins are next or close to Alaska Airlines check in). We pick up and drop off at most major hotels, car rentals or RV rentals located in midtown, downtown, or airport area (on selected transfers and all tours). If you don’t know your pick up or drop off location you can still book your transportation and then call or e-mail us when you book it to let us know your pick up or drop off location later.
Anchorage Airport drop off and pick up instructions:
If you are being picked up at the airport, please wait inside or right outside the terminal by the exit of the Alaska Airlines baggage claim #1 and look for a bus or someone holding a sign “Alaska Cruise Transfer”.
Anchorage Airport Car Rental drop off and pick up instructions:
We DO pick up and drop off at all the car rentals that are located at the airport. Drop off and pick up at the airport is at the south terminal, there is NO access for buses to the car rental offices. Anchorage’s airport is very small and car rentals are located right next to the terminal. To get to the car rental offices from our drop off point at the airport you will need to go inside the same building, take elevator to the underground floor and the car rental offices are right in front of that. If you are being picked up at the airport, you will need to walk a few feet back to the south terminal. You can also leave someone from your party at our pick up or drop off location with all your luggage and then return or pick up your car and return to your party.
Whittier or Seward cruise ship dock pick up and drop off description:
When you are getting off or on the ship in Whittier or Seward, we pick up directly inside the cruise ship terminal by your luggage pick up location, the driver parks the bus and walks inside the terminal to find the people with the sign “Alaska Cruise Transportation – ACT BIG BUS.” If you don’t see that sign, just stay inside and wait for someone to show up. We drop you off directly in front of the cruise ship terminal by the luggage drop off point, after which you simply walk on to the ship.
There are no customs or immigration check points in Whittier or Seward.
We pick up and drop off directly at the cruise ship terminal, right next to the ship. You are a few steps away from the ship, you don’t need to walk very far or get another transportation to get to the ship, we bring you directly to or from it.
We are the only bus transportation company that offers a convenience of door to door transportation. We will pick you up at your hotel/airport and drop you off at your hotel/airport (on selected transfers).
Note: The only pick up and drop off in Seward is at the Cruise Ship Terminal (also known as Dale Lindsey Seward Intermodal Facility with an address of 913 Port Ave, Seward). The only pick up and drop off in Whittier is at the Cruise Ship Terminal (West Camp Rd, Whittier)
ANCHORAGE:
Our DIRECT transfers have different pick up and drop off options depending on the time and date:
- All transfers pick up and drop off at the Anchorage International Airport
- To see if a specific transfer offers pick up and drop off options other than the airport, you will need to use this link https://alaskacruisetransfer.zaui.net/booking/web/#/default/calendar then select your travel date, on the right hand side select the transfer option that works for you, click on the green button “Available”, on the next page look on the right hand side under the Guest Selection, it has a drop down menu “Pick up Location”, click on that menu to see the pick up locations offered for your particular selection.
Our WILDLIFE and FULL DAY tours drop off and pick up at the following locations in Anchorage (in alphabetical order):
Anchorage International Airport (including car rentals located at the airport)
- Airport meeting instructions: If you are being picked up at the Airport, please wait either inside the terminal or right outside by the door of Alaska Airlines Luggage Claim Door #1 and look for some vehicle (turn left when going outside the door #1 and you will see red horseshoe shaped metal poles which is the place the coach will be parked when it arrives to the airport) or just wait for someone with a sign ALASKA CRUISE TRANSPORTATION “ACT BIG BUS” at the door #1.

If you don’t see your lodging on this list, use your hotel’s airport shuttle and meet our bus at the airport or we will drop you off at the airport and your hotel’s airport shuttle will pick you up.

Car and RV Rentals
- We DO pick up and drop off at all the car rentals that are located at the airport. Drop off and pick up at the airport is at the south terminal, there is no access for buses to the car rental offices. Anchorage’s airport is very small and car rentals are located right next to the terminal. To get to the car rental offices from our drop-off point at the airport you will need to go inside the same building, take elevator to the underground floor and the car rental offices are right in front of that. If you are being picked up at the airport, you will need to walk back to the south terminal. You can also leave someone from your party at our pick up or drop off location with all your luggage and then return or pick up your car and return to your party.

The reason we are not able to pick up or drop off at all the locations is because our buses are too large to physically fit into some of the places’ driveways.

- Egan Convention Center – go to Westmark – 720 W 5th Ave on G St side
- Any RV places – go to the airport
- Hyatt House – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
- La Quinta Inn – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
- My Place Hotel – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
- Residence Inn – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
- Best Western Golden Lion – go to the airport using taxi or Uber
- Dimond Center Hotel – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
- Aptel Studio – go to Sheraton – 401 E 6th Ave
- Merrill Field Inn – go to Sheraton – 401 E 6th Ave
- Baymont Inn and Suites – 5205 Northwood Dr – go to the airport using their free airport shuttle
